New Releases: What upcoming games are you looking forward to?
Lock's quest is a TD on the DS (one of the few... the only other one I know of is Ninjatown...) and does it job quite well.
+ The gameplay is a standard tower defense with the basic turrets and some specials, the common traps,... However, what sets this game apart is that you take an active role during the battle. You can keep your base together or (which I did most often, your towers are able to last a while :D) take the fight to your foes.
+ The story isn't too special but it contains quite a lot of good twists. I sincerely suggest you play it a second time trough.
+ Upon completion of the game you can take the fight against the good guys. It's just the same game with different sprites but it's quite satisfactory...
- It is sometimes rather hard to keep a decent eye on your base, causing you to lose the game when you really shouldn't have.
- You need traps. It kinda irks me that you need these temporary placements since it means you'll have a temporary defense, for a single round, instead of a decent base.
