Winter!: Prepare for holiday gaming!
Shadow Dragon is a DS port of the first game in the series, featuring Marth (probably the only know Fire Emblem-hero outside his own game) and some others less important ones.
+ The fire emblem series offers plenty of challenge without it being impossible hard. With stuff like auto-saves, perma-dead characters,...
+ Something kinda uncommen (at least, as far as I know...) in the series: a secret boss! You could complete the game and think it's finished but if certain conditions are met you'll get to fight the real threat behind the well... more obvious threat you previously eliminated :D
- The characters lack depth. Most often I try to preserve all characters (unless going for gaiden missions) but here... well... if you lose 'em you're more likely to think "meh. I've got plenty more where that come from" insted of "OH NOES! restarting batle...".
- The game allows you to reclass your character. You're still limited by the classes you got troughout the campaign, they can't define their characters (it's easy to develop a persona for a knight but that wouldn't fit for a knight-myrmidon-pegasus-whatever) and nearly all your characters are supposed to change to a specific class but you don't know that...
It's a good game and a fine installment to the series but it obviously lacks quite a lot. Play other FEs.
